Our Guarantee to You
We take pride in the quality of our products, which is why every Navy tool comes with a complimentary 12-month warranty starting from the date of purchase. This warranty ensures that our tools are free from manufacturing defects, and we’re here to support you if you experience any issues. For full details on warranty coverage, please refer to the sections below.
Important Notes:
- Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or wear and tear.
- The warranty is non-transferable and becomes void if the tools are resold.
- Every tool is identified by a unique batch number (e.g., L23-164-0986) that provides traceability, including the purchase, manufacturing, and finish dates. This ensures quality control at every stage.
- Navy tools feature a distinctive coating mark, which is a sign of quality and not a defect. Hand-finishing may result in slight variations in the appearance of tools.
- The warranty period starts at 00:01 AM on the date your item is delivered.
Terms & Conditions of the 12-Month Warranty
Coverage:
- The warranty covers defects that arise from manufacturing. If a defect is found, Navy Professional Ltd will cover the repair or replacement costs of the defective part or tool. Please note that shipping costs and taxes are excluded.
- Replaced parts or tools become the property of Navy Professional Ltd.
- If a tool cannot be repaired, it will be replaced with a similar item. Refunds are not provided.
Exclusions:
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear or improper handling (including prolonged immersion in cleaning solutions).
- All tools undergo a 9-point inspection policy to ensure they meet our high-quality standards before dispatch, and any damage caused by improper use is not covered.
Improper Use:
- The warranty will be void if the tool has been modified, serviced improperly, or if third-party parts, accessories, or consumables have been used.
Claims Process:
- To make a claim, you must return the faulty tool to Navy Professional HQ, along with proof of purchase and a brief explanation of the issue.
- We are not responsible for lost items during the return process. For peace of mind, please return the item via recorded delivery to:
Navy Farm, Walkeringham, DN10 4NB. - We assume responsibility for returned items only once they have arrived at our HQ.
Warranty Duration:
- The granting of warranty service does not extend or renew the warranty period.
Geographic Limitation:
- This 12-month warranty is available only within the UK.
Legal Rights:
- This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
Aftercare:
- To keep your tools in optimal condition, follow our aftercare guidelines and use the Navy Hygiene range.
- We do not recommend soaking Navy tools in blue-style disinfectants or hypochlorous solutions, as these can damage the tools.
Intended Use:
- Tools should be used as intended. For example, cuticle nippers are designed specifically for trimming cuticles. Using them for any other purpose will result in premature blunting or damage.
International Returns:
- Return shipping costs from outside the UK are not covered by the warranty.
Chemical Damage:
- Damage from chemicals, such as blue-style disinfectants, hypochlorous, and hydrogen peroxide, is not covered.
Reprocessing:
- Ensure you follow our Reprocessing Guide when cleaning and maintaining tools to avoid voiding the warranty.
Navy Professional Ltd reserves the right to change the warranty conditions at any time. Any claims made prior to any changes will still be honored under the original terms.
